Yea !

I got my new lens last week ! : ) It's Sigma's 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 APO DG macro lens. Finally i can do something different than 50mm. And now i'm going to learn all the ''secrets'' of this lens. But i have some problems.. It's winter here in Finland and it's absolutely dark after 3-4 P.M. And with 4-5.6/f you have pretty small options what you can do. Of course you can do long shutters and that kind of stuff.

I'm in school almost every about 6 hours. So it's already dark when my school day ends. -.- And this pisses me off really... But ! I still have weekends and i can do some macro shoot inside my house ! So i'm starting to make some flowers shooting after my school. I'm gonna buy some different flowers, setup some kind of ''studio'' with some white sheets and lights. And do some different stuff. Hope it's gonna work. I think i'm going to do my first photoshoot next weekend or next week after my school. Do you have any kind of ideas what kind of flowers would be great ? I think roses and violets are very beautiful. But please say if you have something to fill with or agree with me : )

Now that i have my tele-zoom. I'm going to save money and buy wide angle. And i'm going to start photoshoot some models in january. AND the best part. X-mas is close and i'm dreaming about some flashes and umbrellas and radio triggers. So i can start to photograph some portraits better. I'm still beginner and got lot of things what i'll need to learn. But it comes with time. I said i got my new lens so it's gonna be lot of updates here. Hope you like my upcoming photos !
